| Great job! I have to have mine sleep indoors, especially in the winter. Is the blue tape your reference mark for minimum clearance? | |

| Nope, the blue tape is where I line up the bottom of my back-up camera screen. If the bottom of my screen lies on the blue tape, I have 6"-8" to spare at the front and back. |

| When I started up the FJ in the garage the temp gauge read 51, when I pulled out and drove a few miles down the road it read 23. I am not one that needs to keep his vehicle garaged, but man it is nice on these cold mornings. |

| Mine stays in the garage... Too bad I have to drive the cold work truck that stays outside. When I first saw the pictures, I thought you were talking about the height fitting. Then I saw how little room you had otherwise and realized you shoehorned that FJ into that garage in all ways. Good job showing the FJ some love though! | |

| Yep the rack cleared the door frame by about an inch, and I only have about 6-8inches on the front and rear side. What really has been the issue is that I have very little room on the sides as I pull into the bay. There is only about 2-3 inches on either side of the mirrors. Its really a hassle getting it into the garage. Once March gets here it will be back int he drive way for sure. |

| If I try to pull mine it the garage the rack touches the rubber seal on the bottom of the door. | |

| Brian...just think if you had a Tahoe...no way would that fit...its funny how garages have gotten smaller from the 60's and 70's when the cars were the size of yachts to how small they are now...now they are little more than extra storage...i remember the garage that my parents had when they first moved into their house it was big enough for a horse trailer and cars... | |

| Tell me about it. I have a "3-car" garage, but all that really means is 2 cars and shelves. Oh and they can't be long cars either. 20' deep is nothing once you add some tools. I had to build a shed in the back yard just to put my lawnmower and yard tools. When I buy my next house (and land) its going to be able to handle a 30'x40' shop. I hate to unpack and then pack everything back anytime I want to do some woodworking. |

| Dang, that sucks. I design houses for a living and it amazes me how small some garages are. I find 24' depth to be good as a general rule, but I see a lot of 19'-20' deep garages. I went 26' on mine and couldn't be happier and the 8' tall door is very handy as well. Of course, I still want more space but I can't yet convince my wife to build an 8-car garage with a really nice apartment above to live in... | |
