| anyone looking for aset of 285/70/17 tires im going to pick up some of these next weekend. They are retreads with a BFG KM2 pattern that are reputed to run just as long as a factory KM2. The company skins the used tire completely down to theh belts and revulcanizes the tread to the belts just like in the original manufacturing process. Anyway price is $500 per set and they are in Bluefield, WV. Im going to get a set for my 4runner and can bring back as many sets as needed for cost plus 25$ in gas money.  | |

For me to drive up there and back it would cost a lot, Treadwrights would be cheaper even with shipping

| Chad...i NEED 1 only ONE....is $500 for a set of 4 or 5? im assuming 4...so 125 a tire is not bad...is 285/70 17 the only size?? i am very very interested in this deal but as i said i only need one...unless you want to sell me one of your used tires...i will buy one of your used tires ....lol

| they are getting pretty sketchy. Have some pretty good sidewall scars and quite a bit of chunking. Not sure what I will do with them when i change em out. It's slated for january though. | |

| you do know our tires arent teh same size right? nearly a half inch off. Im not sure what that would do to the onboard traction control computers and such.
But I will let you have one if you want... Probably be mid to end of january. Till then if your wheeling with me I carry a spare all the time. We can share | |

| I got turned on to a new size tire today and might change my plans a bit for the 4runner.
Wonder how hard it would be for me to squeeze in a 34" tire under the 4runner.
Saw a set of 255/80/17's today and really like the way they look. | |
