| Ok, so everyone can agree that the interior dome lights are AWFUL. Well, I solved that problem for about $6 Go to ebay and type in "LED Dome Lights"... look for something CHEAP (around $1) and from Hong Kong. Make sure its a panel and not little actual bulbs (those wont fit, I tried). The ones I got look like tiny rectangles. I bought 2 panels (48 LED's on each panel) for $6 TOTAL and they make a huge difference. | |

| Do these "panel" lights fit into the existing dome light housing? I need something brighter for sure... | |

| Yup, they sure do. Make sure its the PANEL kind, not the one with bulbs. They just lay right in there and the housing just snaps over them. Theyre not as wide as the housing but theyre damn bright.
I found the ones I bought. Theyre less than $4 and yes, theyre from Hong Kong but youll have them in about 1-2 weeks. Since theyre so cheap, I bought a few of them. I got them maybe 4 months ago and theyre still going strong.

| I have one dome light (I have a sunroof) so I assume I need only 1 panel? How does that connect to your existing fixture? | |

| Yeah, only one panel will fit in each dome light. I dont know all the correct terminology, so bear with me. The part at the end that looks like a bulb has a spring in between the two terminals. That way, it can fit into multiple different sized lights. Just squeeze them together, contracting the spring, and it pops right in. This is the piece Im talking about. I have an '07 and I imagine they didnt change the dome lights from year to year. Youll need a flat head screwdriver to pop off the light housing. The whole process should take 2 minutes at the very most. Its super easy. | |

| The LEDs also have double-sided tape on the back if you wanted to tape it on. It already fits pretty snug, doesnt move around any, so I didnt see the need for it. | |

| No problem... let me know how it works out!!
I definitely want to look into a CO2 tank, if nothing else, just to not have to go to a gas station every time I need to put air in the tires. I would absolutely make it a DIY because I know they can be very pricey.

| My LED light is not working all the time. Sometime it comes on, other time not. I have double checked the connection. I just ordered a few more of them (at $1 plus shipping can't hurt to have spares). I remember when I got it, the wires that plugged in did not match. IOW, the wire with the white stripe matched up with the solid wire and visa versa in order to get it to come on. Could it be a bad one?
PS I do have 2 lights. The one in the back was turned off so I did not notice it initally...duh!

| Hmmm that's weird. Mine, front and back, and the 3 I put in my girlfriends car have been working fine. I remember they only worked when put in a certain way so I'm thinking you just got a bad one. Since they're on springs, you can actually put them in longer or shorter than the needed length and that could possibly mess with the connection. If that makes sense. | |

If so I'm pulling the trigger on two of these as well. I map lights up front so has anyone got a solution for these as well? Like a smaller panel version? |

| Yeah, I got them from that seller. The seller it comes from doesnt really matter though. Just make sure of four things:
A) They come from HONG KONG (not China)
B) The replacement bulb has the spring in the middle.
C) Buy an LED panel NOT bulbs... bulbs wont fit.
D) Buy the type with 48 SMD... thats the highest # of LED whatevers Ive seen from them.
The ones I got for Leigh were from a different seller but all three of the items above were on point.

| Wondering if these will fit the map light up front. The map light is just a hair smaller and of course split in the middle! I'm thinking for another two beans I might give them a chance. Worst case I'll do something fun with them!

| Dont do it... those dont have the spring which means the bulb has to fit PERFECTLY. The spring in between the two metals ends allows you to use it where bulbs of all shapes and sizes would go. | |

| HAHAHA dammit!!!! I hope they fit! Ill keep my fingers crosses for you. I made that mistake my first time around; that type of panel was too thick and the bulb didnt fit. Epic fail!!!! | |

| I ordered the rear and middle dome lights a few days ago! I would also like to know if the map lights fit as well. Those would also be good for my ride! Its hard to hook up the IPod and search for phone chargers in the dark! |
