Toys for Tots

Hey folks, I wanted to post a Global Announcement concerning the Toys for Tots Campaign.

Angie (soclbtrfly) asked that we all consider this cause and assist with a donation of a toy if your financial situation allows.

Angie will be taking this thread over and posting more info on this great cause, so stay tuned!!!

Hi Everyone, Angie here. I would like to thank David for creating this little corner on the forum for me to send out this message.

Each year the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation collects toys to give to children who might otherwise be forgotten. Their mission is to spread hope to less fortunate children so that they may experience the joy of Christmas.

The Marine Toys for Tots toy drive is going on now. Please join me in helping support the Marine Corp Reserve Toys for Tots program by donating a new unwrapped toy for either a boy or a girl.

Great idea! Justin and I go to toys'r'us every year to go shopping for toys for tots! Count us in! We are all blessed to have things that we enjoy in our lives, like our FJs, and trips to meet up and hang out. The least we can do is try to make others happy and give them something to enjoy during the holiday season!

Would be cool if we found some of those toy FJs to donate...

I like the idea Toys for Tots. I was active in leading that initiative for a few years while working at my previous company. A great cause.

We always have a toys for tots collection on the Coast Guard Base here in Elizabeth City.
