Here is the actual tent:

Kodiak Canvas Cabin Tent Kodiak2

This is our family tent - what an amazing product! Purchased from Cabela's and has really done well for us. Stands up to bad weather, big enough for cots and plenty of room!

Chad's posting of a fall camping trip got me back on this post.....LOL. I do hope that my son remembers our camping trips and yes, the poles are heavy!!! Steel! Thay have withstood storms and wind without issue....but total weight of everything is 80+ lbs.... But for car camping....no issues at all!!! and we have weathered some nasty storms in this tent!

Looks like a good shelter for my tent. We could setup inside and store all of our gear in it. My first tent was a hand me down from my parents, it was a military rectangular tent heavy canvas. I remember as a young kid having 12 people sleeping in it on a weekend trip with 2 cots for my parents.
