| Has anyone heard of these? I was looking at Rotopax but these are literally half the cost and also come in more sizes.

| Looks cool and if they are cheaper than the rotopax...then even better...the only problem I see is the transfer...to the fuel tank as they don't really have that feature..but I'm sure an FJ enthusiast could quickly overcome that...I do also like the water tanks...I see them mounted to the roof and a spout connected and use gravity to transfer the water...as i just wrote that..I am thinking the fuel could be transference the same way...use of gravity...hmmmm | |

| lol true I guess. I was also noticing a lack on handles like the Rotopax, but I guess gravity could work in your favor. I think I still might go with the Rotopax. Cliff has 2 and swears by them. I also like that theyre only 3" high as opposed to these that are 10" high and would stick up past the roof rack. I do like their capacity though. Choices, choices... | |

| I liked the 15 gallon one that was only 7" tall. I'd still go with the extra low profile Rotopax though since I hit my roof on a lot and I don't need a ruptured fuel container leaking down to my exhaust. I've got more dents in my roof than the rest of the truck combined. | |

That's a great point I hadn't even thought of. Especially with my lift. Rotopax it is!

| In most places gravity feed is illegal. And also routeing the fuel line as to not attract would be thieves our well parking lot lot pricks would be a pain. If you didn't want to take the rotopax off the roof just turn it spout upand use a hose to siphon it to your tank from the roof. I have three and will be ordering another for those extended outings or when I find cheap fuel. You never know when or where it will turn up. | |

I hear ya. I posted this whenever I was still on the fence. Definitely glad I decided on the Rotopax. I especially like the fact that its only 3" high and is concealed completely by the roof rack; I don't need any more drag. Cliff, do you think they'll be here in time for OBX?

| Ok so I ended up getting a 4gal Rotopax and after a few times "in use", I would never use anything else. Period. There are enough handles and grips on it to make it easy for anyone to fuel up and theyre low profile enough to be completely hidden by any roof rack. | |
