ANOTHER URE RUN

I'm suggesting a URE ride for the 17th of september. I just made sure with the wife and she is 100% on board for a ride at URE. She is excited about it and really wants to go. I'm hoping that we can get the same or better turnout that we had this past weekend...ALL BOARD!!!!!!!!

Should add that her request was to have some wheel time, not just as a passenger. (Is it safe to spot your wife as she climbs an obstacle???)

Paul's wife did great behind the wheel. I don't however recommended spotting you significant other. Too much animosity if something goes awry

Agreed! ..... and too much temptation for a less forgiving woman to 'accidentally' hit the gas instead of the brake. OOPS!! Hope that insurance policy is still good! LOL

I might be able to make it, but I won't know until later next week. I have to do some landscaping. If I can get it done before then, I can go. If not I have to wait until October. : (

I like how eager everyone is to go back! I too want to go back and find myself day draming of our last trip but i am not sure if we can make it that weekend. We do wedding photography on the side and we may have someone booked that weekend. I will definitely keep my eye on this thread and post back.

You know what would make the next trip even better?? A cookout up top on a big hill with a beautiful view. Any pickup can take a picnic to the campground, but it takes a 4x4 to take a picnic to the top of some high up perch. What do yall thing about that?

We would need a way to make a charcoal fire and grill some dogs or burgers or veggies right off the trail. And be able to extenguish it completely when done.
Chairs, folding table, coolers with drinks and condiments, etc.

I Cary a gas grill with me everywhere. I also carry a cooler so its just a matter of getting meat and condiments and we are all set where ever you want to cook out.

Oh wow that sounds awesome..I'm in total agreement with this idea...GHOST will your girlfriend be joining you?...YURI your idea is a great one..I think as we did for last ride we can make plans as to where and when we meet on the Friday prior to the ride...GHOST...your stock FJ will get you thru 99% of the trails and the other 1% you can easily circumnavigate ....it sounds to me that YURI has been bitten by the off-road monster and has been infected by evil venom that it injects into your very soul...I was infected many years ago...ill be one to admit that one NEVER recovers from the spell you are put under....

Hey last time at the outpost i bought the season pass for $30.
But for a second I thought i heard the sales lady say it was good until
Dec 2012. Anyone know for sure how long the season passes are good for?
