| I gotta make sure my wife doesn't see those pics totald. She wants me to paint the roof black and every 07 TRD out there reminds her of that. | |

| I'd venture a guess to say that the ruts were too deep for the FJ, so he tried to ride high, straddling the ruts and in the end, sliding and failing. It looks like a lot of fun to try though!! | |

Looks good Dano! What is the piece you have on the very front of your bumper, at the bottom?

| Thanks David! Oh, that is where a little plastic rectangular silver plate used to live. It is on my list of things to paint black but i think it looks fine without it so I am in no hurry. The fact that silver trim came on this thing from the factory still baffles my mind. | |

| <---------------- The Story
The ruts were deep but not too deep. Originally they were full of water. I was called out by two friends with jeeps that wanted to play follow the leader and said I couldn't follow. So I did, many times over. In the end I didn't have enough room to come straight in and didn't want to back up so I went in at an angle. The front crossed the center hump but the back did not. I would like to point out the strap on the back. It had already been used a few times before that picture, but not by me.

Hey Dan, so you just took off the plastic silver strip and there was this beautiful, black, aftermarket looking thing under it??? My wheels are turning (pun intended). And as always, I love your rig buddy! Hope you can make it out to Wild Wings in the Spring. By the way, do you know Paul Ward? He lives in Wilmington too.

| Never thought about replacing the exhaust, but mine is a TRD and sounds pretty good with that. | |

| Thanks Rolando! Your rig is looking great these days as well. If you want to remove the front bumper lower strip you have to remove the front bumper cover which is easy. You can find the "how to" in the blue room. I plan on making the show again for sure and hopefully another meet prior to that. | |
