Shoe Creek run in VA

Is anyone from here planning to camp, or only guys from SSOR?  Its 4hr10min so I am not sure on the plan..?

I'll be camping with the ssor guys. And there will be at least one other Fj there with them who will be camping.

I saw you were going to be in the area, but it's not the right weekend. Maybe in the spring we can get it scheduled so that you can come.

Sounding pretty sweet. Figured it would only be a few to show up but sounds like we should have a dozen at a minimum.

I'm trying to talk the wife into camping but not sure that she is going to be game. Worst case I may camp myself that night. Is anyone bringing kids that will be camping? In case others wanted to drink some adult beverages.

The only child i know for sure will be there is mine, and I assure you at 11 months old he won't care if there are adult beverages present or not. We did have a few kids with us last time and even with the adults drinking after the boys went to bed, there were no issues. I'll be stone sober either way, so it won't be a situation where everyone has had a drink.

Just a note for anyone who plans on camping, there are two fire rings in the area we usually use. If you'd like to have a fire, please try to bring some firewood with you. While we'll be surrounded by woods, there will probably not be that much DRY wood available.

The ssor guys are, for the most part, not coming. Several couldn't get off work and one had another event to attend. I know there will at least be one Fj and possibly the Baja bug with that group attending, myself, you, Adam (iwashmycar), there was a guy in Asheville talking about coming, but i don't know if he's 100% sure he'll be there, and then I think Michael is the only other person we need to confirm will be there.

I am in pending the wife's final nod she's coming.  We do plan on camping, so are hoping the vistas are as good as promised!

It appears that some folks from SSOR are coming. If I'm not mistaken it was about 10 ppl that were planning on showing up.

Unfortunately last minute change of plans....hope you guys have a huge time!
