| Thanks for the input sir! I would absolutely LOVE to own a TRP, but that's about twice as much as I'm budgeting for this particular project! lol I'm leaning towards my roots with the Springfield as well. | |

| TRP's are expensive but they are really nice. I really love the Scorpion also and what I have read the finish holds up nicely. I guess I wouldn't buy one of those if I planned to run classes/carry it for the wear factor on the finish. With that being said anything Springfield is good to go in my opinion and I am a hue fan of them. | |

| Yea I hear ya. I don't necessarily need my gun to look pretty, but of I could find something more durable and less resistant to scratches I'd like to. I know parts of the Scorpion are coated with cerakote, but I think it's just the slide. My bitone XDS goes everywhere with me, and the stainless has held up remarkably... So that's another incentive to go with Springfield. I'm also thinking I'll go with the Springfield Mil Spec version. | |

| I got rid of all my Ars mostly because they where too expensive to keep fed, even thoo i reloaded in 223. I bought myself a little nice Ak74, they vary in price depending on the manufacturer. You shpuld be able to get a Cia ak for 5/600 depending on any upgrades plus ammo is way cheaper . A can of 1080 sells for 140/170 | |

| I ended up going a crazy different route than the 1911 for now... Picked up a Saiga AK47 on Friday w/ 600 rds of 7.62 (double that in the picture below because a buddy of mine wanted the same thing). Fantastic conversion quality! | |
