Howdy! Iust picked up my Yellow 2007 on Weds after researching like a madman for weeks and found this site mentioned on the fjcruiserforums site. I've had a Jeep in the past that I modded a fair amount, but never had a chance to off road once I did all of the work.

I've had some other 4x4s and done some light offroading in the past. Decided to go the FJ route as I have two large dogs and a kid. So far after two whole days of ownership, I'm loving it. It sure was hard letting the keys go to my baby though (it's ok for a grown man to cry when making a trade such as this, right?).

I miss the remote start, stereo integration with ipod, video, comfy seats, and power. Over the next year or so, I'll be doing what i can about all of these issues, as well as prepping it to play on the lower-rated trails. Really looking forward to taking trips to the beach again and to meeting fellow FJ'ers.

Rusty

"old" (2011 Challenger SRT8) and "new" (2007 FJ Cruiser).. and no, I didn't pay nearly that much for it. lol:
