Honestly, there's an 80% chance of rain throughout the morning and afternoon at Richland. Rain chance at URE isn't till the afternoon. I still haven't been able to find out if I can go anywhere yet....

In the cabin...... Duh. When I cut my pinch welds to make it easier to fold over, I went a bit too far on one of the cuts, which went right through the firewall. I stuck a light inside where I thought the water was getting in, and sure enough, I could see the light on the other side in the fender well. A generous amount of silicone RTV hopefully solved that problem.

| trip recap:groupf of 5 trucks consisting of madtoy, dwc2134, myself, andy(red 1st gen runner) and dammit blue tacoma cat. first of all i don't know of pics so it may not have happened. the oupost fixed their water leak...something about pinching a weld. it was a little slick, we first ran dickey bell?...it took a few tries but madtoy and myself were victorious. daniel was not happening, having never had issues with traction until i got here to n caro i was convinced i could pop right up it and well i didn't. attempts were made by blue tacoma guy and myself. we just turned around. | |

| It was actually a lot more fun than the usual. When its dry, it can get boring. Wet added a whole new fun factor. Even going up the reverse side of Daniel was interesting in the slop.
The first ledge of Daniel looked to be about a foot deeper than usual. Even dry it should be tougher than normal. Next time.....

Sorry I missed this one....but not too much! Until I either, get new (better) tires for mud/slick slopes, or a winch, or both, I think I'm better off on dry days! - Quote :

As the first ledge of Daniel keeps getting deeper/taller, it'll be interesting to see what it looks like around the end of November.
