| Man, you need to snap a decent current pic of this rig! It doesn't even look like the same one that's up on page 2. It's real nice, made me think it wouldn't be a bad replacement for the FJ should they stop making it. Granted, it's claustrophobic in the front of the cabin compared to the FJ. But still very nice. | |

| Some flat fenders are really going to bump up the badass factor! Looking good though!.
I like the stock rims better, but I know they wouldnt work

| The front fender flares are on. I had to do some cutting and painting around the rear fender area, so those will have to wait until tomorrow. I have to say, it feels wrong grinding metal and spray painting a new vehicle. I trimmed the pinch seam up. painted the area |

| No, I can't weld. However I am doing something else. I am trying to make the jeep look real ghetto. |

I had Adam make me some so I could pass it off as my own. To be honest, I don't really like the new flares. I the the stock ones had a much better design, but I guess these will be more functional. |

Well with my lift and these flares, I can run 37s!! I doubt that will ever happen though. I would want to upgrade the drive shafts and regear before that. |

| Yep. Seems that once guys go to 37's and bigger, that's when all the problems start. | |

| Looks good. I like the construction (including a place for the side marker) and the clearance gain but I'm with you. I like the look of stock fenders better. |

| The JK 44s are pretty stout and can be beefed up to handle 37s pretty easily. I wouldn't run any ECORS races or KOH or anything on them, but they'd be great for most offroading. I think there's actually a built pair for sale on Jeepforum right now. You can sell your stock pair to some TJ guys for a pretty penny as well since they're a good bit stronger than the TJ 44s.
Oh yeah, I prefer the new fenders by the way.

| Yea if you sleeved those 44's and ran chromo's they'd be pretty darn stout! | |

| Oh man, the stock flares were my biggest gripe about these vehicles... they looked way too cheap for such a nice rig! VERY glad you switched em out man! | |

| I put on skids today. These were a pain in the butt. Definitely makes me appreciates the quality and design of the Budbuilts. I just did the Trans/oil pan skid and the transfer case skid. I probably wasted money on the gas tank skid. The stock one is already metal and don't want the added weight of the aftermarket one. I thought I could remove the stock one and then put the new one on. However it is not recommended because the stock skid is what is actually holding the gas tank up. Pictures... |
