Weekday ride the first week of April?

Anyone have any weekday time off work that would want to run up to Uwharrie the first week of April? Assuming they don't close the rest of the trails that is....

I need a day off of work, and that is as good a week as any for me

Yes - but with Kodak closed, the good trails will most likely be mobbed. So I was hoping to get out there on a relaxing, no traffic day.

Plus - not sure if I'll be able to make it on the 6th

Gotcha. I take enough time off work while working, so I shouldn't (ethically can't) take a day for wheeling, as appealing as that sounds!!.

I am off that week Nick, So I am game. I will be camping up there Wednesday night - Sunday.

Nah. Unfortunately, the kids would get bored too quickly and drive me nuts.

Hmmm. Thursday or Friday may work well then. Tresa will be on her way back from NY on Friday, so depending on what time she plans to get back will determine Thursday or Friday for me.

I need to check, to see the dates we are camping up there. It might only be Thursday to Sun. I am off though the whole week, so I could do that mon-wed too. Its not that far of a drive. How much advanced notice do you need? It might be best and see what the weather is like first.

But in all seriousness, she doesn't mind the truck so much. She HATED my 10 second street car, so the truck is much better

Don't need much notice. As of now, I have no trips planned that week for work, so I can take off on a day or two's notice.

I should be able too.....still thinking about Harlan?

I think I am only staying out there Thursday-Friday. So probably earlier in the week would work better for me.

Unfortunately, I have to go to Memphis late next week. Won't be back till Friday night

I'm going this coming friday, the day that it opens, for the day if anyone has any interest in that.

Alright Nick, what day are we thinking of. It would need to be Mon-Wed for me, but either of those would be fine.

Wednesday may be the only possibility. I have to see if I can move a call I have. I'll hopefully know Monday.

Sounds good. Just let me know. If you can't it's no big deal, I'm going Saturday.
