This was probably the most FJs we have had on a trail ride.

Which to me seems pretty surprising, its a long drive for most on the forum, and is not very difficult, although the scenery is great. Plus with the god awful weather, I thought it would be another cancellation

Half of the FJs were local. 2 from mooresville area, one from Raleigh, and one from Columbia sc. Everyone else had ties to the area.
The weather made it better. The creek crossings were better and there was plenty of mud!

Any pics I have are on the camera, but I wont have my laptop until tomorrow to put the card into... My desktop doesnt have a reader
Just spent the morning cleaning all the crap off! Got a couple good hits to the skids, and a few new scratches on the passenger side. One really long wavy one at the back door...must have been up against one of those downed trees as we rode by.
The little bendable nozzle attachment on the hose has proved to be priceless. You can bend it more than 90* to reach around stuff. stuff just kept coming out of the flares. Then I stuck it down into the fan area and got most everything out of the radiator. I could not believe the amount of muck that came out... I highly suggest backwashing it if you have not!

I believe Adam James was the one from over there as his drive was ~4 Hours.
My drive was ~3. Was pretty nice although a little foggy. As I got closer to Columbia some trucker on the CB mentioned there was someone walking down the highway away from a Volvo or something with the hazards on. About a mile up the road nearly to an exit ramp some girl was walking so I stopped. I guess she ran out of gas and her phone was dead. I was like "Is that your car back there?" and first thing she said was "You're not a serial killer right?" Haha. So anyway she used my phone to try and call people and after probably 10 calls got someone (i have an Ohio number so nobody would answer)... meanwhile the Highway Patrol pulled up and offered to take her somewhere, which was nice. As much as I was willing to help, it was probably like a 6 mile backtrack probably to turn around to get back to where the car was.
Always something going on after wheeling... last time it was that injured dog on the side of the road....

I am pretty sure I have half of Hurricane Creek at the bottom of my driveway. I pressure washed everything off.
We left our cameras at home, so no pictures from us.

I remember your first adventure out. That truck looked brand new, with not a scratch to be found

Haha that spot just takes a beating. Coming into the mud pit area I hit that lower corner of the new Ricochet plate and smashed it in a little!

Of course. I went very slowly though trying to test the new tires. I still ended up with mud everywhere.
