Also stock front and rear lockers. The Powerwagon is an awesome 4x4. Just too big and heavy for the small trails.

My brother bought a 2012 power wagon after he sold his 2011 rubicon. Then he sold that for a Tacoma, then a tundra, then 2012 rubicon COD special edition. Then decided Chrysler sucks and bought a Chevrolet truck. Oh he sold a 2010 dodge challenger to get the first rubicon.

He buys vehicles like nick does tires.

well honestly i believe that an FJ with an ARB in the front might very well have made that climb...its just that the ATRAC is so unpredictable and uneven and you cannot utilize it with lots of tire speed...its fine for alot of the time...just not ALL of the time...

I dont feel bad,Razz... I watched someone fix a drive shaft on the first ledge so he could get out of the way, then Casey slip and slide all over and not make it, then Tyler slip and slide and just get up,... He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day or somthing like that! Very Happy

I had a great time on Dickey Bell, hangin at the parking area with almost as many trucks as are signed up for the Show, then had more fun slippin' and slidin' on Dutch John, and then drove home...great day!

I think a-trac works pretty good, but you really have to know how to use it. Mike is right, it does nothing for you at high speed (wheel spin). Below 2500 rpms is when it works. You also need to keep the rpms constant. That's when it can do its best. With that said, I would like to have a front locker, but it is a decent in between that and being completely open up front.

i know that Scottydog has no rear locker and im not sure but i think he also is lacking atrac..not sure...but i know that he literally has to bum rush alot of obstacles. The ATRAC is a good beginner "limited slip" and does work will when the rocks are slick and hard to grab a hold of...but by no means is it a Front "locker" it just doesnt work that way...sometimes you need tire speed...if you can spin the tires and get them hot and the rubber transfers to the rock itself then you can use the "glue" to grab and go...the first chance i get with a little more than a grand of cash i would love to get an ARB...but thats just a long way off....lol

The advantage ATRAC has over the locker, is the ability to turn your wheels. It's nearly impossible to turn the wheel with the locker on unless they're spinning. At least with ATRAC, you don't have to shut it off when turning....

There is a clip of someone going up DJ on the fb site that shows how slick it was. Does any of her herkyjerky vid show the pool at the foot of the ledge?

Here's the video Rolando took of me getting up the Dutch John Hill - https://youtu.be/s2YrSCM-jMA

Hey, if you had been in 4lo you wouldn't have had an issue! I am assuming you didn't have the rear locker on either since it wasn't in 4lo?

Yep they only work in 4lo. No worries Scott. At least your FJ didn't roll down the hill backwards without you in it.
