| So I can't decide between my two wheel choices. So, let me hear some opinions SCS F-5's 16" 8" Wide OR TRD Matte Black FJ wheels 16" 7.5" Wide I like the TRD's because they are a bit narrower, and would work better for the 255's I am getting from Brian. But they are a little more expensive 5 TRD wheels is about $900 shipped 5 SCS wheels are about $790 shipped | |

| The SCS-5 is the wheel I'm getting when I do the 315's. only weighs 19 lbs, so it will help offset the weight of the tire.
If you don't mind a few more pounds, the Level 8 ZX is a real nice wheel that also has a UHMW rim ring protector as an option.

| If you are certain you will never want to go with a tire that is 34" or more, the TRDs are cooler. However the benefits of the scs5 would make it a good choice. Lighter 8" wide Spokes are more inset. Less scratches from rocks. |

| I also think the Stealth 6 would look great on a Runner - if you we're willing to go with a 17. | |

| If you werent going pizza cutters I'd vote SCS's all day long.
I think 7" is perfect pizza cutter width, and the TRDs do work...Any wider and youll just be scraping up the SCS's.
I also vote silver TRDs. You could always paint them black later... They silver ones come in gloss and thus dont get all faded, stained, and show scrapes nearly as much as the black ones. Plus they are worlds cheaper and easy to get. (unless you care getting Brians in the deal) | |

| Thanks for all the thoughts guys. It certainly is tough, the SCS's won't get scraped up too bad beyond the lip, due to how recessed the spokes are.
Hmmm | |

| One thing to consider is...........if you get the black TRDs we will be wheel buddies! And that has to be worth something. |

| They actually look sick with the cutters! And I knew they were light, but I am hearing 19lbs!? Thats 10 lbs per wheel lighter than TRDs. Win Win. | |

| I think the TRD (6 spoke) wheels are around 25 pounds. I know there isn't a lot of concrete info on that, but I think that was my conclusion when I was searching a year ago. |

[QUOTE=jimmy-buffett;2389584]I know these wheels are hard to get, I got lucky and did some random searches for the part # and found this website selling them for $145 each plus $25 shipping per wheel. This is with ***NO*** VIN/TT check. I have a 2011 NSSE (which was supposed to be a TT) so I was betting on the fact that my VIN might check out, but when I asked the guy he said they didn't need a VIN for these.
Mine came in last week, so now I'm happy to share the link with everybody else. I was also PM'ing Wilson from TRDParts4U about them, but he was still under the impression that there was a VIN/TT requirement. I PM'd him when I got them and have not heard back, so now I'm sharing the link for everybody else to use.
