Possibly Selling my 255/85/16s BFG Km2

I am thinking of selling my current tires. I a set of 4 255/85/16s with about 60% life left (20,000 miles on them) and no major trail damage.

These are really great tires and have provided awesome traction on the trail. The only reason I am selling, is I am thinking of going to a taller tire. If you think you might be interested let me know.

What do you want for them Brian? A ball park is OK, I am getting new tires in about a month, the new 255's priced out at a hair over 900.

You can look at them tomorrow. I have one that does, but that is my dedicated spare (not in the set of 4).

To get them I was thinking, when we leave from the Gulches I pass right through Charlotte, I can just swing by your house and get them.

Casey, here is the issue. They are on my FJ. I can only sell them once I get new tires. Too add to the issue, I am trying to get a set of 17" wheels.

It's just that I am not in Charlotte that often

16's are better for the trail but 17's come in those sweet sizes mentioned. 16's are also cheaper just get a set of 315/75r16's Super swamper makes a 34 in a 16"

on the other hand hook up oll' Casey when you get your 17's

Brian has decided against the 17's but he is still selling me his KM2's at a decent price.

And I belive the only SS tire in a 34" flavor is the LTB. Which might be a bit much for Brian

There are a few SS tires that are around 34".

34x 10.5 LTB - bias ply, and only 33.6"
295/75/16 M-16 - HEAVY and 33.8"
285/75/16 SSR - HEAVY and 33.9

I think that is the main thing. They sounds absolutely horrible for DD duty, but damnit they would be great offroading!

The SS radials are really not that bad, They ride pretty smooth on the road and are very good on the trail. They are extremely heavy though and tend to be larger then advertised

They are also around 75 lbs!!

That means more protection,lol. and GAS

Super swampers are great tires. I DD my old truck with 33" radial TSL's and they were definitly loud, and heavy. But a great off road tire. LTB's, TSL's and SX's are all a great tire for the terrain around the east coast.

brian i have a set of 17" alloys off my 4runner that I will let go for 100$ they have some scars on them but could be cleaned up if you wanted by painting or powdercoating.

Just have to pick them up at my parents house in Winston Salem.

Thanks Chad, but I have already resolved my tire/wheel dilema ... for now. I have sold my tires to Casey and put on some Hankook 295/75/16 Mts. I also picked up a set of 2007 FJ 17" wheels from another member at a decent price. They are on reserve in case I want to swap to a 285/75/17 for my next tire.

Chad ...you gonna bring the little lady to the show in April?? either way are the wheels you have off the Runner?? i might be interested...and i am possibly looking for some other wheels to powder coat as a project...

Iran a set super swamper ssr's and loved them. I thin I was running 33 12.50 s They ran good on road, and killed all obstacles off road
