| Several people have been talking about going to 35s. Thought this was interesting.

| I don't get the whole fascination about going to 35's
Hell I can run just about every trail at URE without even touching a skid plate with 32's
If you wheel the 35's the chance for breakage increases exponentially

| I have a buddy at work who has 35's on his Powerstroke F250 and that is a great fit. 35's on a FJ cruiser just looks odd to me. I personally would never go bigger than a 33....maybe 33.5 if that was an option. | |

| the 285/75 17 BFGs MT that i have measure to 34.6 inches ...anything bigger begs to tear something up...you may not ever break anything but you are so close to that edge that you have to ask yourself is it worth it...No offense to FJDarrel but im actually counting the days til he breaks something...i hope he doesnt and im wrong...but the way he wheels...i honestly believe its just a matter of time...

| Nope, theyll last until I get new ones. You watch there are too many rigs with 35s they have no problems..... They way I wheel? Well sur teach me the "right way" | |

| You get the same advantage going from stock 265's to 285's, as you do going from 285 to 315. To say that it's a fashion statement is a bit ignorant (no offense). More ground clearance and better break over angle means you may be able to take that slightly more difficult line. I know I've been in some spots that another inch of clearance may have gotten me over it. I know I'm hoping to hit some other places besides just URE this year. And if Darrell breaks something, I would bet anything it will have little to do with his tire size | |

dude..dont be so defensive...the way you wheel is foot to the floor...nothing wrong with it..until the tires stop suddenly...and with that "MASS" eventually something will give...dude i did the same thing...smaller tires than yours and foot on the floor...then the tires stopped suddenly and snap...you dont have to be so defensive about it...and i am not gonna tell you how to wheel...thats your style...no right or wrong way...eventually everyone learns their limits and boundaries...lots of people with 35s also DONT wheel...so of course no problem...

But here's something else....anything the IFS Toyotas are capable of doing can probably be done on 33's. I have never really felt the need for anything bigger than the 32" tire I have now, but I am going up to 34" skinnies soon enough.

do i hope you break something? hell no...i have been there i know how expensive it is...but do i honestly think you will ...hell yes...just a matter of time..and that is my honest opinion..whether your in a conversation or not...its a damned forum...i need not ask permission to mention you or anyone...get over yourself...
