That's what I want to hear since I'll be heading up to the mountains in 2-3 weeks!

High Country (Boone/Blowing Rock Parkway area) goes to peak around the 15th-20th of October. Richland Road is a little lower in elevation so I would plan on peak color being between Oct 20th - 30th. I don't know other the elevation of the other places. Although I think Hurricane creek would be similar to Richland road.
Take the Richland Road trail on either Saturday 10/20 or 10/27 and I am sure it will be nice. Exit onto the parkway and ride on it for a while. Perhaps come back that Old Hwy 105 that others have gone down. Would be a nice Fall ride.
