| I had a hard time finding a really good deal on the steps that are added to the rock rails. I ended up just ordering them from a local dealer that gave me a price comparable to those online. | |

| I have the rock rails with the steps on them. I'm trying to get rid of them. I'll sell them to you or maybe we could work out a trade . . . . | |

| I would consider adding these steps to your rock rails. They are sturdy and can be easily removed when you want to go offroad. They were around $120 http://www.toyotaparts4u.com/Scripts/prodList.asp?vmanufacturer=Toyota&ModelId=2331&modelname=FJ%20Cruiser&modelyear=2010&catalogid=1&catalogname=Accessories&idCategory=26 |

| I just tore up my passenger side factory step rail at Uwharrie today. Anybody have a right side for sale? Maybe I should just get a real set of rack rails? | |

Id say get the full blow rock rails... you know, the ones that stick out about 6 inches or so. I was around Flushead's FJ all this past weekend (he has them) and I like them MUCH more than mine. I have the "mini" rock rails with two steps on each side... same ones dmiles has. I liked his because they stick out more, providing a better step and also a TON more protection on the trails. Plus, with the steps, they can sometimes get snagged on rocks. | |

| my trail gear sliders stick out about 6-8 inches and work well for the wife and kids when getting in my FJ. They make it more difficult for me to get in since I am taller but nothing I care to really complain about. Besides, I would much rather have that protection there than not to have it. | |
