| I live in Raleigh and was wondering if anyone knew of a good/cheap place for me to get Bilstein 5100 front height adjustable shocks installed. I went by 4 Wheel Parts in Raleigh and they were going to charge me $450 for the install which seems way to much to me since it should only take them about 2 1/2 hours to do it. Let me know your suggestions or if any one has gotten a good price from any where! | |

| If you have the ability to take the struts off, I've gotten the shocks switched out for about $40 bucks. It really isn't to challenging to get everything torn apart and back together. | |

Thanks for the suggestion but I am really not mechanically inclined and would not want to try to do this myself!

| There is a place on business 64 just off the beltline on the outbound side called HWY 64 Auto. A little ways past the Zippy Lube...they will do it for about 1/2 the 4-wheel parts price and it takes them about 1/2 hour. | |

Thanks for the suggestion! I will definitely check that place out in the next few days. I knew the estimate from 4-wheel parts was way too much!

I knew the estimate from 4-wheel parts was way too much! 4wheel parts is always was too high.....I would be curious.....we have a member here, Johnboy, he is a Service Wroter for Leith Toyota....I wonder what they would charge, if you tell him you are an NCFJ Cruisers member..... I know he said that we get a club parts discount.....
