| I was at RHendricks at that location today and both of the FJs that had $45K on them had Toytec 3" lifts, window tinting, Nitto Terra Grappler rubber and something else (dont recall)...in all $99XX worth of add-ons. Everything else on the lot was new and between $31 and $35 or used. The tires and red coil springs (f) and shinny shocks (r) caught me eye right off on both of them....both were Quicksand. Whoever was doing the adds must've screwed up... | |

| It's sad when a certain represenitive for a company can cause loyal customers to turn away from their products. In this case Toyota sales, parts and service reps are making a bad name for such a great vehicle. It is a shame they're asking so much for such a basic add on when these should come lifted and armored stock from Japan. Hopefully people will educate themselves a little before jumping into a new vehicle and be aware of this. When I bought my 4Runner they were asking for about $38,500.00 I paid about $26,000.00 new. They had a used one beside mine for the same price with the same options asking $38,000.00 Mike don't get rid of your FJ. It will make me cry. | |

Don't even think about it Mike! Honestly, I have owned new Ford, Nissan, Honda, VW, Chevy and all my encounters with the dealerships have been the same,,,they are all out to make as much money as they can, starting with the "stories" fired off by the sales men, and on up the food chain. Customer service from a dealership had died, long ago. I am not bashing them, just stating the facts. But I must say, the ONLY time I actually had a GOOD experience was when I bought my FJ from Town and Country Toyota in Charlotte. I found in listed by the dealership, on EBay, delat over the phone with their EBay salesman and closed the deal (with a significant discount) over the phone and had a deposit placed on the vehicle all with in 30 minutes. Outside of that, I cannot say that I have ever had a GOOD experience with ANY dealership. I have had "semi-good" experiences, but usually that only happened after the dealership and I "reached an understanding" in regards to our relationship and transactions.... This is truly sad and unfortunately true. I would LOVE to see a dealership be honest from the get-go and maintain that relationship throughout my dealings with them. Maybe someday....maybe... | |

| Yeah your in the military hustle zone. I am pretty happy with most of the goings on at Jim Barkley. They seem to be pretty fair. | |
