| I surely enjoyed designing and making that for ya David. I really want to get the package deal finished up soon. I need to look around inside and see what else I can make. | |

| Hey Jamie, I have a question.
I currently have the pool ball TRD shift knob for my 6 speed. I'm getting ready to swap in a FJ manual shift Tcase and Marlin Crawl box. I would like to have matching shifters. One one need to be 4H-4L, 2wd-4wd, then H-L.
I'm guessing they are made from porcelain. But I have no clue. Could you make something like this?

| Larry, yeah I could probably make something but i would not be able to engrave the shift pattern in it. Also, I would most likely not be able to make it from the same material as the TRD knob. I wonder myself what it is actually made from. Have you looked at the screw threads in the knob? Are they like the outside of the knob or are they metal screw threads? | |

| Let me see what you have in mind and I will let you know. I am extremely busy at the shop and we are over loaded with work so much so that we are having to sub some jobs out just to meet delivery dates. I am curious to see what you have in mind and it may be something I can work in when I have some time. | |

| Hey Sun Cruiser......when you have time......I would like to entertain the idea of a billet shift knob. Are you toying with anything cutting edge? What would it cost me? | |

| Hey Travis, yeah I thought my design was on the cutting edge as far as designs go. What have you got in mind?
DirtGhost, I should be able to open a dxf file. I will pm you my email address if you can send it to me by that means. Check your pm box.

| David, I am working on it. Our machines are covered up and I have got to find a good time to jump on it. I want them done so I can finally have our matching sets. I am still interested in producing some for sale at some point just dont know when. By the way, did anyone take notice of the know at the summit?
Travis, I cant say for sure what a set would run but I am willing to speculate that a matching set would cost $80-$100. If I ever produce any for sale they will be made of 7075 aluminum rather than 6061 like the ones David and myself have. 7075 is a little pricier but it is much better to machine and more durable than 6061 and maintains a better finish over time than 6061 as well.

Yes a alot people saw it and LIKED IT!!! I gave them our group card with the forum address on it and told them to check it periodically to see if and when they would be available for sale. It was a popular design.!!

| The drawing with only one knob in it looks very interesting. That would be a challenging one to make as would the others. Very nice designs.
The one thing I have in my design is I incorporated one small little feature that our FJ's have. I tried to make the knob so that it went along with the FJ appearance in some way. If you look on the sides of your dash on either the passenger or driver's side you will see at the side of the A/C vents a dome shaped trim piece with center counterbore and six surrounding counterbores.
