| I recently replaced my stock front & center skids with a 1 piece Armor Tech Offroad skid that is 3/16" steel. This thing is pure beef weighing nearly 60 lbs. Big difference from the stock tin. Very well made product. Kevin the owner has been making Tocoma skids for a while now and has a very good rep for his skids. He is developing a transfer case skid for the 4Runner now and a crossmember skid. I primed & painted it myself. I used Rustoleum clean metal primer and car primer. Then a top coat of truck bedliner and semi gloss Rustoleum stops rust spray can. This will make any touch ups easy latter. This thing was a beast to mount up by myself on level ground. I used my floor jack with some padding to hoist & line it up last night. I'll post up some pic's of it mounted soon. Here is a couple pictures of it painted and ready to install:

| Looks good. I really like the recessed mounting points. One of the reasons I went with Budbuilt over Ricochet. You just need some tires now! |

| I know I know, I need some bigger tires for sure. My original plan was be able to get the lift and sliders. That turned into lift, sliders and much needed skid plate. I was hoping to wait until next year for some tires but now i'm like when can I get some bigger tires! Lisa says go big or go home! I'm thinking 34ish over 33's. I really like the Toyo open country MT or BFG KM2's and they both come in the size I like 285/75R17 | |

| I have been looking at the toyo mts as well. Of course now I am thinking selling my current tires for something else. If I am not careful I am going to mod my way into the poor house! |
