I have a service appointment on the 6th. So I am out for that day. I imagine with a lot of people off it will be very crowded that day to. The campgrounds are already booked for the long weekend. I was going to stay, but couldn't get a good site.

Well you can camp anywhere on the trails for free

Oh well there you have it! I will probably stay Thursday night for two days of wheeling.

I'm thinking about coming down for this run. Plus Mike might put me in a box (or something like that).

Did you get the new tires put on?

Just got them today! They'll be put on tomorrow while I'm at work.

Unfortunately, won't be able to make this run . The wife was thinking I meant this Thursday, not next. Bunch of stuff going on that day; and Friday is out since we'll be getting ready for Passover that night.

Lol. I have only been on a portion of Daniel, but I am not opposed to doing more. Part of the fun for me is trying to figure out the best line to take. So i love new stuff.

Rocky mount loop and dickey bell are fun trails with places to play harder if you want to. If we get a good start at 9, we should be able to do a bunch.

Yea we can start easy and work our way up. I won't have the rear locker by then, so I might be sorta limited

would love to join you guys but work prevails......if any of you guys get on HWY 49 in Asheboro look for a Jaeco Precision sign, you can see my sun fusion rig through the trees from the road. Stop in and say hi.

TROY, N.C. -- The Uwharrie National Forest is opening the off-highway vehicle (OHV) trails in Badin Lake Recreation Area a few days early this year. The trails are normally opened April 1; however, the District is opening the trails on March 30 to allow users access to the trail system the entire weekend.



"The OHV trails are very popular with full-sized vehicles, ATVs and motocross bikes," District Ranger Deborah Walker said. "We attract visitors from all over the state, as well as neighboring states."

i may show up... i got a lot of prep work to finish on my other toy though.

I'll be there the 6th as of now......outpost at 9 like always.........I'll post up if plans change, see you there.

So is anybody camping the night of the 5th?

Not sure I'll be staying overnight yet. Doubtful right now.

Looks like it may end up being that ride in the rain on Thursday too.

I'll bring my waterproof underwear.

It may be wet, but NOAA is still only saying a 30% chance of scattered T-Storms.
