PostSubject: Mobile Version Question   Wed May 11, 2011 9:31 pm

Ive noticed on my Android phone I get this forum as a "mobile version". While it looks great and is easier to use on my phone, I cant reply to threads. Has anyone else come across this problem??

David, not sure if this is something in your territory or not, but I figured if Im having this problem someone else probably is too.

On the iPhone, I can choose classic mode and then post from there....I know that doesn't answer the question, but could be a work around...

Well, guys, here is the answer I found on our forum hosts Admin FAQ site:

Your forum on your Mobile phone :
Now, your forums are fully optimized for browsing via mobile devices
and smartphones. The principle is very simple, the forum will
automatically detect the visitors who access it from a mobile device or
smartphone, and it automatically displays a version optimized for this
type of navigation.
Of course, the visitor who does not wish to use
the mobile version will be available to him the possibility to return to
normal view forum.
This feature is still in beta, you will only be able to browse the forum as a guest. No posting yet.

So there you have it, it is in Beat and no posting.....yet.

I will keep watching and if an update comes out, I will try to notify the group asap.

BUT, if you want to post from your phone, just select "classic mode".

Thanks

-David
