So you have 2 FJs? And a 40? Yes. My wife actually got her's first. I had 3 Tacoma extended cabs in a row and when her Altima was totaled by a deer, we decided to get her one. Then, after I drove it some, I really liked it and traded my Tacoma in when Toyota was knocking thousands off the price. Then, I've wanted a boat for a long time (I grew up on Lake Gaston boating every weekend), but my wife was very much opposed. So, I showed her an FJ40 I wanted and said this could be my boat. She finally relented. A man has got to have his toys! | |

| I agree! Right now, I don't have kids to spend on, so better get my toys in line before we do! I bought the 40 dirt cheap, bought my wife's 07 used at a killer deal and bought mine when Toyota was knocking $6k right off the top plus traded in my Tacoma for it. Not as much money was spent as it may seem! I have put some dough into the 40 though. Right now my cousin is replacing some rusty panels for me.... at a bargain of course! | |
