Spoke to a few other members.....they, as well as I would order 2 glasses, that could push us over 24! I just think it would be cool to have a souvenir...

| Curious, does anyone plan to camp IN their FJ? Is that even allowed on the beach there or do you have to be in an actual campground. Would love to come and bring my new dog. | |

Cant say I know of anyone camping in their rig. I did, however, see on the blue room a thread where some guy fit an air mattress in the back. It looked pretty level too with plenty of room somehow... not sure if he removed the back seats or what. Do a search if youre interested and post pics if you decide to go for it!!

| I have a air mattress that contours to the back of the FJ. truckbedz.com I believe. I have done it myself but two people would be a challenge. For us at least, I was comfortable back there the 3 times I did it. I will also be bringing my boys so hopefully they get along.
David we are down for 2 glasses as well.

David we are down for 2 glasses as well. Thats awesome! I remember seeing that write-up and thinking, "man, how is this the first time Ive seen this???". Its a genius idea really. Did you have to remove the rear seats or does it just lay on top?

| I just laid them down. If you remove them I would make a panel to keep the lower part level. Or you could make bottom out of plywood that goes back to front and bolt it down. With the storage box I have now mattress wont work in fj. So I use it in the tent, but I want to get a bigger mattress for the tent. | |

Ill give it some thought... unfortunately, theres a pretty long list of things Id like to look into first. I like the practicality of the mattress though. We shall see.

| Does anybody know if camping on the beach is allowed? I know that you can have camp fires with a permit but not sure if there is curfew or something for beach goers. If so is there a permit too obtain of fee to pay? | |
