Thank you. No one was making them when I bought mine so I started building them. Have shipped them all over the world... Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, Middle East, Chile, Virgin Islands...and more.

Yours isn't bad either... Laughing Yeah.. when I was looking for one I was set on white. I like some of the other colors but Iceberg it was on this purchase. No regrets whatsoever.

Yep, love that white...walked in the door to buy silver, saw the Iceburg on the showroom floor and said, "I'll take that one!"

Also really like the winch mount...very well done.

Thank you.... typically, when I buy a vehicle it gets modified extensively but I wanted to keep this one pretty close to stock for a daily driver... love the 18.5MPG so after installing the winch and mount along with the Bilstein adjustables up front to get rid of some of the factory rake I was pretty much done mechanically.

Anyway... if I wasn't going to lift it and add some 33" MT's then I figured I'd sure better have a winch on hand...so insto presto... winch mount.

Of course, had to have some decent tunes, a CB and a HiLift...oh yeah, and some storage inside..... oh and a trailer...it never ends.

What's up Cow-town??? My wife and I have a house in Denton. Totally different world out there. I'm diggin' your truck. White is definitely the way to go with the heat that is out there.

Hey... all is good here. Was in Denton a few days ago... everything is still standing.

No joke on the white... grew up in west Texas so I'm all about the shade. Black vehicles in 115 heat can be brutal.

Thank you. It was a bit more work than I had planned but sure worth it. I've been driving Dodge Cummins trucks for years so I'm used to having a pickup and need that hauling capability on a regular basis so it was pretty necessary. Plus I was always tearing off lights and license plates on utility trailers when out hunting and what not... don't have to worry about that now, it will go where my FJ goes.

You can read about my trailer build in a bit more detail over at the Expedition Forums compared to what I posted over in the blue room.

http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/threads/69410-M101A2-Trailer-Purchase-amp-Project

I ended up spending less than a grand but put in plenty of labor time, regardless I couldn't be happier with the results.

Auction via http://www.govliquidation.com/

Mine went the highest in the bunch.. .for whatever reason, and it was still only 280.00. Custom axle, spacers and wheels/tires from CraigsList then paint, which I did myself, then bedliner was about 300.00 for everything...then made a few bucks selling the axle/wheels/brake system.

It all worked out.

Thought I'd let everyone know that we now offer a 'slick face' mount with no shackle mounts.

I’ve had several FJ owners ask me about our Winch Mount but with no shackle mounts. There are several reasons one may not want shackle mounts but the three main reasons are:
1. If you use certain Toyota brush guards the vertical supports are positioned directly over the shackle mounts. With no shackle mounts you can keep your brush guard AND have a winch mount.
2. Certain countries prohibit anything protruding from the front of the bumper other than OEM items.3. Some simply want a smooth finish similar to their OEM plastic cover.
Whatever your reason we have a winch mount for your FJ…with or without shackles? Please drive through…

Hogwash!  A winch is for those that expect to explore the limits of their vehicle - and expect to use it often.

If you never use it, you ain't riding hard enough. geek
