So Allen (CherokeeCruiser) recently sent me a link for these headlight guards (originally made for an AMG or some crap) that only cost $22 w/ shipping. They came chrome, so I plasti-dipped them and popped them under the grill. Part of me likes them, part of me doesn't think they tie in well with the bumper. What do yall think?

Haha, it's the only thing I notice since it's on my own vehicle! Maybe I'm over-analyzing it? PS, good luck today!

Not bad. They look pretty mean with the bumper. Only downside is having to take them off to clean the lights real well (if your into that)

There are also these ones from a Heep that would be more of a brush guard approach

Maybe it's the angle, but those look weird to me! Makes em look like cat eyes, or those eye lashes that stupid folk put on their beatles!

Yeah I agree.

I am still contemplating some sort of headlight film, but they dont seem to take many rocks anyway..

Yea, and I mean honestly it's more of an aesthetic thing, rather than actual rock protection. Lord knows our windshields take on more rocks than anything else!

I like them, but Adam makes a heck of a point about cleaning the lights. I'd love to do something if it weren't for the cleaning since I've already had one light taken out by a rock.

I agree, I guess I'll have to see how tough it is to clean around them (if I ever decide to actually WASH the truck). As far as your lights getting knocked out... well you've got quite a few... perhaps a batting cage around the front would work best for you? bom

I don't like them, cleaning could be a lady dog, and the one on the drivers side looks crooked.
