| Nice Adam. Taking the opportunity for a photo while poor Sarah is holding on inside for dear life! | |

| Adam, have you been able to look into why A-trac wasn't working? |

| I have not. I figure Sarah was inconsistent with the skinny pedal. It did seem to work right at the end there with the strap hooked up, so maybe it was just a matter of the truck feeling the slipping properly.... | |

| My GoPro developed a rattle in it. You can hear it in the Rebel Blvd video. So I returned it. Did some research and it might just be something I have to deal with and perhaps filter it out or cover it up with sound. I got another one (this time a hero3), so we'll see. I also splurged for the remote. Kind of costly, but I could see just from the trip to gulches it is annoying trying to turn that thing on and off when it is mounted. |

Where did you get it and how long did you have it before it developed a problem. I've had mine for about 18 months, but only used it a handful of times. It worked perfectly the last time I used it, then when I went to use it again, nothing. Wont turn on, no lights when it should be charging, nothing. Thought the battery must be dead dead. Got a new one, removed the old one and the card, installed new battery, nothing. I have a customer service message into GoPro, but appearantly its common for their product to have "issues" as I got a message saying they've got my message, but due to an extremely high volume of messages, take a number and a seat, it may be a while...

| ive only used mine a few times and i totally agree with you Brian...i hated getting in and out to turn it on or off...especially since i had it mounted to the roof rack...so i got the wifi remote..well...so far i havent used it at all and to be honest with you i havent been able to get the wifi to work...i have told BT that we need to have a GOPRO class sometime so we can figure out how to use them correctly.. | |

| Paul, my wife bought it off Amazon for me as a Christmas gift. We returned it and then bought one from BestBuy last night. I set everything up today and paired the remote to the camera. Everything works really good there. Mike once you get your remote working you will really like it.
Unfortunately I still get rattling in the video when I shake the camera. So I know, the easy fix would be to not shake the camera right. However whenever mounted to the FJ its going to shake. I asked in the Blueroom if this was normal. There were several responses confirming this. Most of the people said you get use to it and usually place over the sound with music. So at this point my choices are to live with the rattling or replace over all the videos with music. I am not thrilled with either of those options.
Not sure what to do. |

| Brian..im sure that when i get it working properly that i will love it..and i also believe that the "rattle" is jsut something you will have to live with...however...it may be that the camera sits a little loose in the cover...if you can figure out where it is actually loose then you may be able to "wedge" something into it to tighten it up...its just a thought... | |

| Nope it is an internal rattle. You can take it out of the covers and shake it. It is very very very slight, but the internal microphone is so sensitive it picks it up. Because of the proximity to the mic it is pretty prominent in the playback. The case is actually rattle free.
I found this link searching this problem. internal rattle fix
It doesnt help me because mine is a gopro3. I am going to investigate more tomorrow. |

We're going again on the 16th of February Bobby...... I'll have to see how the January 26th trip turns out, lol.
