Lunch/dinner meet at Darryls restaurant, Greensboro, NC January 19th, 2013

There's a nice fire pit but overall I believe it would be mighty chilly for most everyone. Just my .02c

I've got no quams with a heated patio. I think for most people it will depend on exactly how heated it actually is.

I dont mind, but the wife is a whole 'nother story.

X2....X2....i wouldnt mind but Angie may be another story...plus there are gonna be kids...andi know FJDerek will most likely have his very very young daughter...

Ok, let me explain this a little better.

The patio area I am talking about is not out front where the fire pits are. The area I am speaking of is on the side of the building and is enclosed. Based on what the staff there has told me it is like a sun room with retractable walls for the warmer months. I am told it has heating and guaranteed to be warm. Since we are eating in daylight I don't see an issue as much as I would if it was a night time event. I have also been told this area will be better for our group due to the number of people attending.

When the page comes up click in the center of the picture on that page.
Another window will open that is the virtual tour of the restaurant.
In the upper right of that window there is a scroll down box, click the down arrow and scroll down until you see patio 1 and patio 2. You can view those areas there.

This is one area where we may very well be seated depending on the restaurants judgement on seating our group and I for one have no issues dining in that area. My wife also has no issues with it and she is one to complain if it is too cold. I really doubt that it would be and if I felt it would be I would not consider this area even for myself. Honestly, I have sat in restaurants before where I was cold the entire time and I was not outside.

Let me say again, I am not completely sure this is where we will be seated but it is a possibility. The other area that has been mentioned to me is the jail area so check that out as well in the virtual tour.

Hey if we do get that seating area we will have total access viewing of all our rigs if we manage to park down the Veasley st side LoL.

i think if there is even a remote possibility of us being able to park on that Veasley side we should try to get it...

it would be nice if they could but I am afraid to ask that question.....I don't want to sound too ridiculous or be too outlandish in requesting it. We are just gonna have to try and weasel our way into those spots or maybe we will get lucky enough to get them.

Jami i dont think it would hurt to ask at all...the worst they can say is no...and if they do we jsut take it over!!!

I mean if there are cars there we can always winch them to a new spot! Kidding of course... But seriously

I could sneak over there very early on Saturday morning with some orange cones and some caution tape!

Spotts...go for it...i think Angie and i will be there around 1pm...so we should be there around the time that Jami gets there...so we will start to park there if we can...

any of these ideas could work ......my wife suggested they may charge a fee to do something like that......I don't know

One thing that came to mind is I would not want our group to be an obstacle for other folks going in/coming out of the restaurant. By this I mean we are going to be mingling out in the parking lot for a little while prior to entering the building so I would not want us to be to much toward the front of the place where people enter/exit. I can only assume we would look like a 4x4 gang of some sort to some people while not so much to others. Does that make sense?
