About an hour out of NC...08 that I've been on the fence about modding..... I think the time has come I'm just unsure about what lift i want to go with. I think I want to stay with 33's and I like the Icon Stage 1 but is it worth the extra money for what I will use it for. I trail ride very little which I'm sure will change with the mods.....?'s ?'s

Welcome! 285's are the most common tire size with a 3 inch lift. I'm not lifted but I know a lot of the guys have icon products so someone will chime in on that I'm sure. And hanging this group you'll definitely get more into wheeling!

Hope so. I believe i may just stick with the Icon and of coarse the BMC and UCA (light racing) but hopefull i can get a 295 under it...Just have to play it by ear.....Lots to do and not enough time or money lol. I hope to meet some guys I can start doing some wheeling with here in the future.

Thanks guys. Ive actually been a member on the fjcruiser forum but seemed like it was mostly ppl from out west. (or may just be me) They were a great group of guys none the less. I came across this website and you guys were more local so I had to join. My wife is already beginning to cringe at the thought of these mods starting. They just don't understand!! I also want to have fun without tearing my truck up lol. Hope all is well.

Welcome to the group!! If you want to get rid of that rub, just slap a small body lift on with that Icon lift. Speedrye (another member) did that I believe and hes running 35s.

Hope you can make it to one of our meets!
