| I'm thinking of checking out the Charlotte Gun Show on DEC 10th. I was wondering if anyone in the group here was into guns or gun shows. If so, maybe a few of us might meet up there and talks gunpowder and FJs. | |

| You could price FJ gun mounts also. Anti-Zombieland prep. (just watched the movie again last night-it's awesome!) | |

| Love guns, like gun shows, unfortunately the one in Fayetteville has sucked so bad the past couple years I rarely go anymore. | |

| Gun shows can definitely be hit or miss. I used to go all the time in Houston when i was stationed there. The last year or so they went down hill so bad that a couple were cancelled halfway through the first day due to lack of participation. | |

| I've only been to one in Cabaraas county fair grounds last year. It was pretty big and i've never seen so many guns on display in one place. I ended up buying a Remington 1100 which later turned out to be a very rare first edition from the mid 60's.
I'm looking for a Ruger 10/22 this time.
I think an FJ would be an excellent Zombie hunting platform.

| I have a 10/22 that I modded out like a mini sniper rifle. Butler creek bull barrel, hogue rubberized stock, bi-pod, scope and sling that are all black and it is a black receiver. Very fun gun. | |

| I need to get a hand gun again. I had my concealed carry for texas before moving out here but didn't make it back for renewal. I had a springfield Ultra Compact 45 but it was too heavy so I sold it. | |

| Thats what this one is advertised as, "The Dixie Classic" by dixie gun shows. Don't know what it will be like. But I'll post a recon report when I get back. | |

Don't know what it will be like. But I'll post a recon report when I get back. From what Ive experienced here in Raleigh, the Dixie Classics are the real deal. Tons of vendors and good prices. If youve never gone before, they charge and extra % if you use a credit card. Its usually not a whole lot extra but still annoying.

| OH, just remembered.... if you get a gun, see if theres anyone selling reloaded ammo. Its usually not the BEST ammo (might jam every now and then) but its usually dirt cheap. Great for target shooting if you have a happy trigger finger like me | |

| Or if your getting guns get a press. Not hard at all to reload and you design your own ammo. | |
