We will be headed to Bumpass cove rd. to do some wheeling on sunday. Bumpass cove road is about 45 miles north of asheville in tn. Take the erwin exit with the mcdonalds turn left go 3-4 miles cross the nolichucky river and turn left onto bumpass cove rd. TenesseeValleyAuthority land and is open legal access.

Looks like a pretty neat place. How long is the trail? Anything other than the ledges for climbing?

It is a pretty extensive trail. I think flushead has more facts on it than I do. The run fronm the rugged entrance is about 4-5 miles then you link into the other trails. It is pretty big. The videos I posted off utube only highlight the rugged obstacles. Every obstacle has a route around it that is easy.
