| It is about 35 miles west of Asheville directly off I40. The trail exits the hwy right after the last rest area. | |

| Thats unreal. I just got mine replaced at toyota with a 2011 one. I guess from my understanding the pre production ones had the glass ring gear. It didn't get the right heat treating. The 1st 4,000 were the glass rear end models. Mine was one of those. Hopefully its stronger now. They gave me a new elocker and all. I've also heard that the e locker drastically increase breakage chances. More than most lockers. Gotta be easy on mine now. I got a xj that I rag out heavy. Currently rear axle shaft is splintered. | |

| Imperial at fj and I had a great run we did hurricane creek, and then drove anothe 38 miles to hotsprings and did the fire road to the 422a trail. We also hit up the cold water at paint creek, for a swim, they also have nice cliff diving. | |

| We did a 2 rig run it was a ton of fun. We actually got our only footage after we left hurricane and went to hotsprings and ran the 422-a trail. The footage is on individual trail ride gallery. Nice pics | |

| I had a 1994 xtra cab. I sadly had to part with it when we moved up here. It ran no doors and no bed with 31x9.50 swamper tsls. One week before we moved my third member locked up on me, and then my wifes 85 runners 3rd also went out. I was in a bind and traded both of them for a running 1987 2wd f150 long bed. Worse trade ever. It did however let us move outta durham, and up here. It moved all our stuff, and then I used it for work for 24 months with no problems. The tranny finally went out and sold it for a grand. Long story short I loved my 94, and her 85 sooo much. I wish I still had them both ecspecially the 85 runner 0% rust and ran perfect. Got 18-24 mpg in the runner with 31's. | |
