The plasti-dip was rushed and didn't bond well enough..I may redo it sometime soon

thanks...the clamps worked great..2 short bolts, 2 washers, and 2 nylon locking nuts and that's it..less than $14 from Lowes Hardware including the plasti-dip but not counting the Quick Fist clamps
