Hey everyone!! Just wanted to post some pics from my recent snorkel install. I put them on Facebook but wanted to share on here as well.

It's actually a very straight forward install so Ill just leave it at the pics; I think they're pretty self-explanatory. ARB did a GREAT job at supplying very detailed instructions. The hardest part for me was cutting my fender flare to fit the snorkel... that actually look about as long (if not longer) than the snorkel install itself. If you dont have fender flare, the install will be MUCH easier. ARB sells a fender flare with a snorkel cutout. The only catch is you cant buy it separately and its an extra $150 if you buy all 4 (compared to 4 non-snorkel compatible flares).

The whole install (not including fender flare cutting) took a little under 2 hours with the help of a friend... that includes prep time as well.

For anyone considering this, let me know if youd like any help! Very Happy

Check your photobucket account , no one here deleted them. If they were deleted from the forum , there would be nothing-- instead, there is a photobucket message saying the images are missing

Thanks. Ill knock it out first thing when I get to work. My computer here at home in PAINFULLY slow and "too much" activity gives me the indefinite pinwheel of death.

On a different note, did you get my FB message from last week? It was sent from my home computer so you very well may not have.

I talked to Matt and he said they dont have that kind of equipment.

MPG is now consistently between 17 and 18 highway which comes to ABOUT a loss of 2-3 MPG from before. The mileage loss sounded greater when talking about how many fewer miles per TANK but when you break it down, its only about 2-3MPG. After talking with my dad, I think its just the tires. I still have the engine on warranty for another 25K miles so I dont want to mess with that.
